The Australian Government Department of Infrastructure and Transport publishes a National Code of Practice for Light Vehicle Construction and Modification. Part 14 of this Code of Practice are the National Guidelines for the Installation of Electric Drives in Motor Vehicles.
As the vehicle is intended to be road registered in New South Wales, all modifications will be inspected by a licenced certifier.
